More about Iliona and Salvador Rios...
Ilona Rios starts making her first dance-steps in ball-room dancing, especially for Latin-Dances.
Working also for years in Dancing-Schools, she gets a lot of pedagogical experience how to teach in a clear and good didactical way. Since 1997 she found her love for Tango Argentino.
Her teachers were Ruben Terbalca, Gustavo Naveira, Sergio Molini & Gisela Graef Moreno and Eric Müller & Jeusa Vasconcelos. In 1998 she met Salvador Rios and they start dancing and teaching as a couple.
Dancing together they found their big love for Milonga.
For this dance, they give the students a good feeling for the special rhythm and show them how to be creative in playing with the music and their steps.
Since 2008 Ilona uses her experience from Alexander-Technik for her students to introduce them how to feel more comfortable in their way to dance and also in their body-movements.
Salvador Rios has is background in Latin-American folklore dances.
He specialises in Tango in 1996. Inspired from known teachers like Facundo and Kelly Posadas, Ruben Terbalca, Nito and Elba and many others, he dedicates himself since 1997 to the old Milonga.
Together with Ilona he starts teaching in 1998 in Germany.
The focus of his work is teaching a harmonic and elegant Tango style that allows the students to develop a dynamic and creative Tango on the dance floor.
